WORSHIP: MEETING IN THE MIDDLE

At Memorial Baptist Church we try to create multiple expressions of styles of woship by offering a blended worship service. We believe at the heart of worship is not a preference of style, but a matter of the heart and life. 

SUNDAY BLENDED WORSHIP

10:15 AM

The blended service is a worship service that offers refreshment for the body and soul. Held in the sanctuary, the service features both contemporary music as well as classic hymns and worship songs from The Celebration Hymnal, accompanied by organ and piano.  Our Sanctuary Choir sings regularly and performs a variety of styles of sacred music.  The contemporary part of worship music is led by LifeLine, a small praise band that includes keyboard, guitar, and drums. The children's choir also performs occasionally. The service reflects our reverence for the Lord without being stuffy or dull, and our zeal for the Lord without being frivolous. The service includes a short children's sermon, after which PreK through 5th grade may be excused for children's church.

ANNUAL DAY-LONG BIBLE STUDY

Periodically throughout the year, we meet for tailored seminars and studies on various aspects of Bible Study and faith.

Easter Sunday

10:15 a.m. 

You can expect the service to include communion, community, family photos, and an interactive opportunity of placing fresh spring flowers on the cross.

CHRISTMAS EVE CANDLELIGHT SERVICE

December 24th 6 P.M. 

Ash Wednesday

7:00 p.m.

Occurs on the First Day of Lent. Held in the chapel of the church. All ages Interactive stations are available as part of the service for reflection.
