MEMORIAL FOUNDATION AT MEMORIAL BAPTIST

SUPPORTING OUR MISSION

The Memorial Baptist Church Foundation is a nonprofit organization established by the members of Memorial Baptist Church in 1986. Through the Foundation, our members make it possible for preachers, teachers and missionaries near and far to spread God’s word.

If you are a ministerial student training to serve the Baptist denomination, you may apply for a Memorial Foundation scholarship. We look forward to receiving your application.

MINISTERIAL SCHOLARSHIPS

Each year, the Foundation reviews applications from highly qualified seminary students who need financial assistance. The Foundation selects some of these students to receive scholarships from the Foundation’s resources. Scholarship Applications are accepted from February 15 through May 15.

Qualifications: Applicants shall be U.S. citizens or legal residents, in training or ready to enter training for full-time Christian ministry with the intention of serving as a minister in a Baptist church. Applicants shall affirm a belief in the Baptist Faith and Message Statement of 1963.

MISSION SUPPORT

The Foundation also gives a significant amount toward worthy missions projects in Virginia, other parts of the United States, and overseas. Recent examples include funding for support of Christian churches in India, as well as the building and repair of homes of needy Virginia residents by Christian volunteers through Transformers and Impact Virginia.
