Having been brought by divine grace to embrace the Lord Jesus Christ, and to give ourselves wholly to Him, we do now solemnly and joyfully covenant with each other to strive:

-To engage regularly in the worship of God, Bible study and opportunities for growth in the Christian faith.

-To work for the advancement of this church, in knowledge, holiness and comfort; to promote its spirituality and contribute financially to its support; to sustain its worship, ordinances, discipline and doctrines.
-To exercise a Christian care and watchfulness over each other, and to live in Christian love and forgiveness in our families, congregation and relations with all people.
-To engage in family and personal devotion, educate our children religiously, and seek to win others to Christ.
-To walk circumspectly in the world; to be just, merciful, faithful, and exemplary in our activities and deportment; to deny ungodliness, to be temperate in all things, and to work unceasingly for the advancement of the Kingdom of God.
-To profess in all conditions of life, even until death, a living faith in Jesus Christ, the Son of God, whose will is revealed in the Holy Scriptures and by the Holy Spirit.

You can see the heart of Memorial Baptist Church in our vision: to be a church for all people who want to experience God's welcome; understand God's word, and join in God's work.

In worship and fellowship we want to provide Christian hospitality so that you enjoy God’s presence among God’s people (Romans 15:7). Sunday morning worship gives us a center from which everything else flows. Loving God above all else is our first priority.

Through a variety of Bible study and discussion groups you are invited to take the next step in the Christian life (2 Timothy 3:16-17). In these small groups you can grow with others in your understanding of God’s plan to give each of us a fulfilling life now and forever.

We move from welcome to understanding to service. Every Christian wants finally to join in God’s work in the world (Matthew 5:16). We find purpose for our lives in service. We find the deepest joy in service. A variety of service opportunities arise throughout the year at Memorial. We have a goal of committing fifty percent of our efforts and resources in causes outside the church family.

Each follower of Christ has a spiritual gift. Finding and employing your gift in service will make your discipleship full and meaningful. You will be blessed, and you will bless others.

Explore the wonder and happiness and wholeness that God offers all of us. Experience God’s welcome. Understand God’s word. Join in God’s work. That’s our vision at Memorial Baptist Church, and we would love for you to take a look at what God is doing among us. We are a church for all people.
